Change of the harmonized minimum clearing price for day-ahead to -600 EUR/MWh
OKTE, a.s. informs market participants that the harmonized minimum clearing price for the Single Day-Ahead Coupling (SDAC) will be changed.
Based on the mechanism set out in the HMMCP methodology under the CACM Regulation, the current harmonized minimum clearing price for SDAC will be decreased from -500 EUR/MWh to -600 EUR/MWh. This change follows the low prices reached on 25 April 2026 and again on 30 April 2026 in several European bidding zones and market time units including Slovakia bidding zone.
The new minimum clearing price will apply in all bidding zones participating in SDAC from 28 May 2026, i.e. for the first trading session with delivery on 29 May 2026.
During the transition period until the new value enters into force, any further minimum price detection events will be disregarded.
